A Silver Inlaid Bidri Huqqa base, 18th Century, Deccan- India.

An ornately inlaid Bidri huqqa base consisting of an elongated tapered base and short slightly flaring neck. The Inlay decoration patterns is typical of both the region and the period, consisting of finely cut and inlaid silver foliate and leafy patterns subdivided vertically by inverted V silver wire patterns.
