A Repoussé Indian Silver-gilt dish, 18th Century - Hyderabad Deccan.

This Indian circular silver dish is entirely repousséed with a central nine petalled floral motif. This centre radiates tiers of concave pear shapes, increasing in size successively. The dish ends with a raised rim with roundel designs. The entire dish shows remains of gilding. The backside is engraved with the name of its owner in Arabic; “Sayed Mohamed Ali”.
